Man charged with injury to child

HOUSTON After an extensive investigation by the Houston Police Department, Maldonado was charged with injury to a child for allegedly beating his girlfriend's 10-year-old son. Maldonado would reportedly kick and hit the child with a belt on numerous occasions causing extensive bruising. Authorities say he would beat the child because the boy could not complete his homework. The child is in Special needs classes at school.

On July 1, 2009 Maldonado was charged with injury to a child and the 337th District Court issued a warrant for his arrest. Maldonado is a 21-year-old Hispanic male. He is 5'7" tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He has a "Praying Hands" tattoo on his left arm. Maldonado is still believed to be in the Houston area.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the arrest of Alexsanders Maldonado. All tipsters remain anonymous.
