Best cities for singles

HOUSTON Forbes ranked the 40 largest cities in the country and judged them on seven different categories, including the cost of living alone, culture, nightlife, job growth and overall coolness just to name a few. Houston came in 25th out of 40. It scored best in the online dating participation and job growth categories. Elsewhere in Texas, Austin came in 11th and Dallas came in 17th.

The top five best cities were New York City, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.
