Man shot while moving out

HOUSTON The victim was moving out of the Cinnamon Square Apartments on Imperial Valley near Cadeaux Circle in north Harris County Sunday afternoon. Sheriff's deputies say the man had just loaded up his car with furniture and was about to drive off when the shooter confronted him.

Sgt. Ben Bell with the Harris County Sheriff's Office said, "The black male approached him as they were leaving the apartments, and fired into their vehicle several times, striking the complainant at least three times."

A passenger took the wheel and drove the victim to the hospital.

The shooter is still on the loose. Authorities say he had an ongoing dispute with the victim.
