An arrest has been made in the murders of two University of Texas graduates from Houston. Investigators are releasing details about the arrest.Stacy Barnett and her boyfriend John Goosey were found shot to death in their apartment last week. Austin investigators have charged James Ricky Thompson, 19, with capital murder for these killings. Officials say Thompson owed Goosey several thousand dollars in connection with marijuana sales and they claim that's the motive for the shootings. Police say they don't believe Barnett had any knowledge of the drug deals.

The victims' families are relieved there's a suspect in custody as they remember loved ones, and try to console the victims'' devastated parents.

"It just breaks your heart, you know, especially when it's family members and somebody you love," said family friend Treet McVandian. "You just can't bring them back. You just want to hope that the family has the strength to get through these hard times up ahead."

Barnett and Goosey were recent University of Texas graduates. A joint funeral will be held Monday at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
