Adopt a bunny at SPCA

HOUSTON The SPCA is holding a special bunny adoption this weekend, offering half off the standard adoption fee. They are also hoping you will bring in your own bunny to take part in the fun.

"We'll have bunny mazes set up in our front lobby all day long, both Saturday and Sunday. You can bring in your bunny for a friend. Our shelter bunnies will take pictures for a small donation," said Meera Nandlal of the Houston SPCA.

The SPCA says bunnies can be litter box trained, and can live to be up to 30 years old. There are also numerous cats and dogs, and one ferret, looking for homes.

The SPCA is located on Portway drive, near I-10 and the West Loop, and the adoption drive is from 12pm to 8pm both Saturday and Sunday.
