Bellaire police say a couple of guys smashed through the glass around 1:30am to get into the Radio Shack. Authorities say they set off a silent alarm, which alerted police. When Bellaire police arrived, they saw the two men inside and with the help of Houston police, they surrounded the area.
Officers say one suspect did manage to escape, running out the back door, but a second was found hiding in the attic above a back room.
This is the third time in a year there's been a smash and grab burglary at this store, most recently in March. Both previous times, the suspects were caught within a very short period of time.
The store manager did come to the scene to clean up the mess and repair the window. He says the store will open today.
