A Russian circus troupe is getting a dose of Lone Star hospitality after getting stuck in north Texas. The equestrian stunt troupe is known as Artania. They started their American tour here in Houston last March. The group got stuck in Dallas last month after the promoter started having problems with vendors and visas for the performers.

Lisa Blackmon of Black Star Sport Horses owns a horse training ranch in Rockwall heard about their situation, and wanted to help so she helped move the entire group to her ranch, where they have been able to perform again.

"Now through the support of the community, it's looking like they're, they're optimistic enough and feeling much better about Texans that they now think that they'll continue on with their tour," said Blackmon.

The troupe had planned to take their show to Las Vegas, but their future is still uncertain.
