'No Refusal' weekend nets 337 arrests

HOUSTON Authorities in Harris County, Houston, Pasadena and Clear Lake made 182 arrests for drunk driving over the Independence Day holiday weekend. The operation the previous weekend netted 155 suspected drunk drivers for a total of 337 arrests.

During 'No Refusal' weekends, officers can get warrants for the blood of suspected drunk drivers who refuse breath tests. This weekend the blood tests were needed for about 20% of those arrested.
