Teen accused of leading police on destructive chase

HOUSTON It started when an officer tried to pull over a stolen vehicle in southwest Houston. The driver took off and headed down 59. The driver got on the West Loop and even wound through the parking lot of the Sharpstown Mall at some point.

Two Houston police units were damaged in the pursuit. The chase finally ended at an apartment complex near Braes Bayou and Braeswood.
