Grass fire burns in Katy

KATY, TX The grass fire was burning near several subdivisions near Fry Road and Clay. When firefighters arrived, they saw flames covering several acres. Shortly after 5pm, Katy firefighters and a couple of volunteer departments were able to knock out most of the flames.

No homes were damaged in the fire and we don't have any word of injuries.
