The driver lost control and started to fishtail. The car went sliding sideways off the road and slammed into an electricity pole. The accident knocked out power to nearby lights.
The driver and one of the passengers are in critical condition. The other passenger is listed as stable. Police say the driver who cut them off never stopped.
