Boil water notice for Fort Bend Co. lifted

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX The notice reads:

"On June 20th, 2009 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the Fort Bend County MUD #34 to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform their customers that due to conditions which have occurred recently in the water system, namely the pressure dropped below 20 psi, all customers should boil their water prior to consumption."

"Your system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling."

"If you have questions regarding this matter you may contact the Operations Company for your District at: 713-405-1750 or 877-405-1750."

"Boil Water Notice for the Seven Meadows and Hickory Creek Subdivisions has now been lifted. "
