A woman who says she was submerged in her car with water up to her neck for 34 hours after a crash is finally out of the hospital. Nita Dennis, who was treated for a broken leg, torn ligaments and cuts, was released from a San Antonio hospital Thursday -- 13 days after her car landed in a creek.

She recalled in an interview with television station WOAI that she fell asleep behind the wheel and her car crashed into a concrete barrier. She said she woke up with water up to her neck, fish nibbling on her body and her leg throbbing in pain.

Dennis says she waited for help when finally ice delivery man Max Gonzales drove by and spotted something as he crossed a bridge.
