Police have canceled an Amber Alert for a young girl after she was found safe early this morning. She was taken from her father's house in southeast Houston last night. The child was found just before 6am on the 600 block of Berry. Authorities say she appeared to be OK.

Investigators say 19-year-old Julia Urbina and 29-year-old Christian Urbina allegedly assaulted the child's father, Abigaid Garcia, last night and then took two-year-old Francis Garcia from her home on Moline and Chaffin. Police say they are relatives of the young child.

Authorities think the mother of the child, Amanda Urbina, 26, wanted to take the child to Mexico, which is reportedly what she told Garcia yesterday. The parents of the child are not married and had broken up a few weeks earlier.

Both Julia and Christian Urbina were taken into custody and were charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault.
