Bally's Total Fitness to close local gyms

HOUSTON The company is going through Chapter 11 bankruptcy. A spokesperson for Bally tells Eyewitness News that the company agreed to close the locations when it couldn't come to terms with the landlord.

The three locations that will be closing are in the Rice Village off Dunstan near Kirby, the Village Place location and the Woodwinds location.

Current customers will be upgraded to a nationwide membership.
