Stabbing at Jack in the Box turns into chase

June 15, 2009 7:54:58 AM PDT
Police say a stabbing suspect led them on a chase through northwest Houston overnight. It started at the Jack in the Box on Antoine and Pinemont and ended several blocks later at the intersection at 34th Street.

Police say the suspect stabbed a man, then stole his car. Officers noticed the car speeding and that's when they began the chase. Authorities say a dip in the road caused the man to lose control and crash the car.

The suspect was then looked over by paramedics before police took him to jail. The stabbing victim was taken to a hospital. No word on his condition.
