Councilmember donates AC unit

HOUSTON Councilman Ronald Green delivered a new air-conditioner unit to 84-year-old Mary Lee Roberts Saturday morning. A concerned citizen called Green's office, worried that Ms. Roberts wasn't able to cool down in her Third Ward home, so he donated an AC unit.

Green said now is the time to check on the elderly when it gets to be this hot outside.
