Armed man demands drugs

HOUSTON On Tuesday, May 26, around 3:50pm a white male pushing a shopping cart approached the pharmacy located inside the Randall's grocery store. He told the two pharmacy employees that he had a prescription to be filled. He handed one of the employees a piece of paper but instead of a prescription it was a note that demanded several different types of prescription drugs, including Xanax.

The note also stated that he did not want to shoot the workers, but that he would. He never pointed a gun at the victims, but he did show them a gun tucked into the waistband of his jeans. The victims were in fear of their lives so they gave him what he demanded. The suspect then fled the store.

The suspect is described as a clean shaven white male in his early twenties. He is 5'7" to 5'9" tall and weighs between 160 to 170 pounds. He has dark hair and dark eyes and was wearing a black baseball cap with a dark long sleeved shirt over a t-shirt and jeans.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of the suspect in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
