Firefighter injured battling house fire

Firefighters put out flames at a large home in north Houston. It happened around 1:30am in the two story section of a home on South and Knox. Firefighters had to go defensive for a few minutes because of the intense flames and heat. After about 20 minutes they managed to knock down most of the fire.

One firefighter suffered heat exhaustion and was transported for observation. No residents were home.
