Police investigate woman found dead in home

DICKINSON, TX Family members had not seen Sandra Finnegan, 54, for the last several days and arrived at her home in the 3900 block of Victoria to check on her. The family members found the door to the residence partially ajar and then located Finnegan's body.

Detectives with the Dickinson Police Department were called to the home, They say evidence at the scene indicates the death was suspicious. The Galveston County Sheriff Department ID Division and representatives of the Galveston County District Attorney Office have been contacted, as well as the Galveston County Medical Examiners Office.

Detectives are currently investigating this case as a homicide.
