HFD presents budget to city council

Houston Fire Department Chief Phil Boriskie Thursday presented his new budget to the city council. The price tag? $433 million.

Chief Boriskie met with the council to discuss the budget proposal. It includes the operating, the departments, 90 or so fire stations, and nearly 4,000 firefighters and paramedics.

The council will not vote on the budget until a future time.
