Police identified the female victim as Fortunata Aguirre Cardenas, 33. She suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The male was identified as Juan Perez. He suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was also pronounced dead at the scene.
Neighbors claim four children were also inside the apartment at the time of the shootings. The children were not injured in this incident.
