Wheelchair bound man killed by dump truck

Police say a dump truck had just been involved in an accident and was in the process of moving out of the intersection when it hit the man on a wheelchair. Witnesses say the dump truck driver never saw the victim or his wheelchair.

Eyewitness Colin Philbert explained, "It was his blind side so he couldn't see. So I'm blowing the horn, telling him, 'Come on and go.' Next thing you know, the truck waited on green, I guess, and just took him dragged him."

The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died. The accident is under investigation.
