Man wounded in officer-involved shooting

Investigators say Precinct 6 deputy constables were responding to a call about gunshots at a home on Avenue C and 73rd around 1am Saturday. They arrived to find a man on his porch, shooting a gun into the air.

Investigators say he ignored orders to drop the weapon and pointed it at a deputy. That deputy shot the suspect. That suspect is expected to survive.
