ATM customer robbed at gunpoint

Crime Stoppers and Harris County Robbery investigators are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect who robbed a woman at an ATM the night of Thursday, April 30, 2009.The victim told police that at about 9:20 that night she withdrew money from a Bank of America ATM near the 7700 block of North Highway 6. After her withdrawal, a young Hispanic male approached her from the passenger side of her vehicle with a pistol and told her if she yelled he would shoot her. He demanded that she withdraw a large sum of money from her account. When she told him she did not have much money in the account, he took the cash she had just withdrawn and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18-30 years of age, 5'2" ? 5'3" tall, 120-130 pounds, with black hair. He wore a dark-colored t-shirt and dark pants. He carried a silver-colored pistol.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of any suspect in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
