Motorcyclist dies while reportedly showing off

Around 9pm a man asked for a ride on a motorcycle. Witnesses say the man who got on the bike for a ride was heard saying to the owner of the bike, 'Let's see what you can do.' They say that's when the owner of the bike revved up the engine.

A short time later, there was a crash off Rothway and the Northwest Freeway.

Both men were taken to the hospital in serious condition. The owner of the bike later died. The passenger is expected to be OK.
