Fast food robbery ends in murder

Authorities are searching for a man wanted for an armed robbery that turned into a murder in northwest Harris County. [SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you]

Around 11:45pm, a man walked into a Popeye's off FM 529 near Shining Shumac. The fast food restaurant was closed at the time.

The man reportedly locked two employees in a freezer and had the night manager open the safe. The suspect shot and killed the night manager, and then took off in a green four door car, possibly a Toyota Camry. He is described as a heavy set black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with close cut or shaved hair, wearing a dark colored suit, blue shirt, no tie.
