Man pistol whipped during robbery

It happened Wednesday night in the parking lot of a Galleria townhome complex on Sage near Chesapeake. Police say the victim was walking to his car when someone in a hood attacked him.

The victim went to a hospital with facial injuries. His attacker got away.
