According to Baytown police, officers were called to the Lee College campus to investigate a vague bomb threat this morning. Nothing was found, and the scene was cleared within an hour.
However, BPD Lt. Freed added that the president of the college decided to close the campus for the remainder of the day. He had no further details about that decision.
Lt. Freed told Eyewitness News the school also received a bomb threat on Friday, but that was also determined to be a false alarm.
Attempts to reach anyone with Lee College for a comment have been unsuccessful.
