Teen faces manslaughter charge

It happened inside a home on Papadosa and Foxshire shortly after 5pm Saturday. Investigators say Erick Granados, 16, had a gun when his friend, Richard Lopez, 18, tried to take it. The weapon discharged and struck Granados.

Lopez called 911 call after the shooting and when deputies arrived, they found Granados with a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Granados was transported to Texas Children's Hospital, where he later died.

Lopez also faces a marijuana charge.
