Halliburton moving out of downtown

Halliburton is consolidating part of its Houston operations, moving out of downtown and into facilities along the Beltway. [SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you]

Right now, the company plans to move to a site on the Beltway and Bellaire Boulevard. Another location is along the North Belt, near Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The facilities will have room for 5,200 employees. The change is supposed to happen in 2012.
