Beware of hurricane scam

The letters say the person may be eligible to receive additional benefits from their insurance provider, and to call a number and give personal information. There is no state organization called the Texas Department of Insurance Agency. There is a Texas Department of Insurance, and it is not sending out any letters to hurricane victims.
