Eyewitness News has learned new information has come to light in the Kendrick Jackson case, which leads prosecutors to believe the three-year-old was murdered. They also say the information ties the murder to Roderick Fountain, Kendrick's father.

Kendrick Jackson was reported missing in April of 2006, and despite a massive search, the child was never found.

Fountain is serving a 15-year prison sentence for weapons charges, but not in connection with Jackson's disappearance. Prosecutors say they hope to file murder charges soon.
