This will be the best field ever for the Houston event. With the tournament the week before the Masters and the course set up like Augusta, the pros like coming here.
"I think we heard that from some of the comments last year from Phil Mickelson on the setup," said Steve Timms, executive director of the Houston Golf Association. "Word of mouth has really grown throughout the year and I think it's being shown with the guys who have committed to play who are in the Masters field, you know, get a bunch of international guys in here to tune up and get ready for next week."
