Wayna was arrested Wednesday at Bush Intercontinental Airport. Security guards at a checkpoint discovered a 24-inch police baton in her carry-on bag.

The singer says it was an honest mistake. She says she has a song called "Billy Club" and carries the baton with her because she uses it as a prop during her performances. It appears prosecutors believe her story, as they have dropped the charges.

"It definitely was difficult," Wayna told Eyewitness News. "I'm just glad that it's over and praising God that it's been resolved. I'm just grateful that it's done. I recognize that the laws are created to keep travelers safe. I understand that. I'm just thankful that it's been resolved, that the truth came out and that it's finished."

The 35-year-old Wayna released her second album, "Higher Ground," in 2008
