Rough weather leaves mess behind

Wind and rain created a mess of things in the Jones Road area at West Road and the same went for those who were in the area of I-45. But for some, it was a lot worse. The wind and rain caused many people to go without power.

CenterPoint Energy reported at one point, there were about 3,000 to 4,000 people without power, but that number is down to 100 people this morning.

There were some reports of downed tree limbs in the Conroe area and in one case, a home was damaged by those limbs.

There was also a report of a tornado touching down near Huntsville State Park around 8pm.

Several flights in the Houston area were cancelled last night. This morning, at last check, flights are leaving on time.
