Police tried to pull the truck over after it ran a red light and nearly hit the police car. The driver wove through side streets near Fulton and Crosstimbers for about 10 minutes. Then the truck entered the North Freeway at Parker. The driver took the Sam Houston Parkway East. Officers finally managed to box him in at South Lake Houston.
The driver fled because of outstanding tickets. He was arrested.
