The funeral took place at Saint Luke's Catholic Church on Hall Road at 11am. A man prosecutors say participated in her murder led police to her body in a trailer near Reliant Stadium about ten days ago.
/*DeJesus*/ was kidnapped early last month while she was leaving her job near Pearland.
Nicholas-Michael Jean is the suspect in the murder of DeJesus, but he has not been charged yet. Jean is charged with attempted murder, kidnapping and robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Those charges are linked to a string of other crimes, including a recent carjacking in Pearland.
Authorities say Jean has admitted to kidnapping but denies killing her. Another man, Wallace Ledet is charged with aggravated kidnapping. Police believe Ledet dropped off Jean at the spot where DeJesus was kidnapped.
