AC unit may be to blame for E. Houston fire

Firefighters responded to call around 4am Sunday and found flames coming from an upstairs unit at the complex on North 66th at Ave H. They made a fast attack and knocked the fire down quickly. Investigators say an AC unit in a bedroom window caused the blaze.

That room sustained most of the damage. The people inside made it out safely.
