Police: 'Liquid heroin' arrests on the rise

League City police say high school students in the area are using a dangerous drug known as 'liquid heroin.' [SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you]

Investigators say they've made an increased number of arrests related to the drug in recent weeks. Liquid heroin is often kept in small bottles and is snorted through the nose. The narcotic in liquid form appears brown in color.

Clear creek ISD says it has not had any reports of heroin cases on its campuses.
