Man in monster mask robs store

Crime Stoppers and Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office are seeking the public's assistance in locating a suspect who robbed Sam's 7 Day Convenience Store located at 500 Barbara Mae. On Monday, March 2, 2009 around 6:30 in the evening, the suspect entered the Sam's 7 Day Convenience Store wearing a Halloween mask, tan coveralls and black gloves. He approached the clerk and pointed a pistol at him while he demanded money. The suspect fled the store and was seen getting into a green or blue Ford Ranger Pick-up truck. The pickup truck could possibly have an extended cab.

This is the second time this store has been robbed in the last three months. A suspect has been arrested and charged for the last robbery.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male around 5'11' tall with a medium build.

Crime Stoppers and Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of any suspect in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
