Two jump from second story to escape fire

Flames could be seen coming from a downstairs unit at a complex on Crescent Park at Village Place around 10:30pm and it was spreading. One woman and her daughter were in an upstairs unit and witnesses helped them jump from the second story balcony to safety.

Both of them were taken to the hospital, as was a third person with burns to his hands. Investigators believe the fire was an accident.
