What's open in Galveston?

GALVESTON, TX So your normal plans include a Spring Break trip to Galveston, but you just don't know what to expect? It's true, the island suffered a major hit from Hurricane Ike. It's also true that not all of the island's businesses are up and running 100 percent. But you might be surprised to learn just how many restaurants, clubs, hotels and other amusements are open and ready to greet you.

You can see exactly what's open and what's not, and when some businesses are planning to return.
