Victim shot during robbery near downtown

At 8:30pm yesterday, two men showed up at an apartment complex off Scott near Dennis. That's when two armed suspects tried to rob them. One of the men didn't cooperate and he was shot multiple times.

The victims got away and then got the attention of an ambulance. Moments later, the man who was shot was declared dead. The armed suspects haven't been caught.
