Around 12:20pm the Coast Guard received a distress call from a kayaker in the middle of Clear Lake. The boater had a personal floatation device, but still went under.
The kayak has been recovered, but there's no sign of the boater at this time. The Coast Guard and crews from the Webster and Nassau Bay Police Departments are searching for the individual.
