According to police, the seventh grade girl was walking to a friend's house between 7 and 8pm on Sunday, February 8, when a man grabbed her. She was pulled into a vacant house under construction at the corner of Drake and Auden, just north of Bissonnet, where she was sexually assaulted.

The suspect is described as a white man, 28 - 30 years old, 6'2" with short brown hair cut in a crew cut style. He was wearing blue jeans, a Houston Astros baseball cap with a star on it and a black hooded sweatshirt with no writing. The man was clean shaven and was on foot, so there is no vehicle description.

Houston police are investigating the case and patrols in the area have been increased. Parents have been reminded to be aware of their children's safety and to report anything suspicious to the Houston Police Department.
