Taking steps to reduce traffic in Uptown

In Uptown, district leaders are trying to reduce congestion. Now Hidalgo is becoming a two-way street between Post Oak and McCue. Planners hope the change will reduce traffic, especially on Alabama. The Uptown District recently added a ramp from Alabama to 610 and a parking garage.

They hope the Hidalgo change will make it easier for the 18 million people who visit Uptown every year get around.
