At about 10am, deputies from precinct 4 were called to Arnold Middle School on Telge near Highway 290. A man in the middle of a custody dispute apparently arrived at the school wanting to see his daughter. The school was put on lockdown.
The father then got into a confrontation with a deputy. The deputy either was pushed or fell down some stairs. The deputy was bleeding, but was a conscious and alert. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital by ground ambulance. His condition is unknown at this time.
The man was taken into custody. The school remained on lockdown until about 10:45am.
