Police use spikes to end chase

The pickup truck's right tires ripped apart in the early morning chase in northwest Harris County. Harris County sheriff's deputies say they first tried to stop the driver for traffic violation. He refused to stop, and lead authorities on a 30-minute chase.

Deputies used spike strips to pop his tires, but the driver kept on going before he pulled into a gas station on Kuykendahl near Louetta. He was arrested.
