Police say the officer was on a drug call Saturday afternoon off West Bellfort and Sandpiper in southwest Houston.
They say when she tried to arrest a man, he head-butted her, cutting her lip. The guy took off with his brother. They were both later taken into custody.
Their mother was also arrested, accused of interfering with police.
